Specialist water & wastewater modelling · Australia / New Zealand

Get confidence in your model.

Model builds, SCADA-driven calibration, automation, and training for water teams. Pin your model to reality with the data you already have. Know what it can tell you, and what it can't.

The practice

Easy Waters is deliberately niche: a small number of things, done properly.

Network models built and calibrated so they can be trusted for real decisions. Automation that strips the repetitive work out of modelling. Training that leaves your team able to do it themselves.

Services

Four things.

From no model at all to results you can put in front of your managers, and everything in between.

01

Wastewater modelling & calibration

The specialty

Model builds, updates, and audits. Dry- and wet-weather calibration against the SCADA and rainfall records you already own, with the fit reported per station so you know exactly where the model can be trusted. Capacity, surcharge, and overflow assessment. Growth servicing support.

02

Water supply network modelling

Builds and updates, calibration and demand allocation, pressure and capacity analysis, and planning support for potable networks.

03

Automation, GIS & dashboards

InfoWorks ICM scripting (Ruby) and Python pipelines that strip out the repetitive work. GIS integration that connects model, SCADA, and asset data: model-to-map workflows, dashboards, and system performance reporting your managers can actually read. Documented and handed over so your team can run them.

04

Training on demand

InfoWorks ICM and WS Pro, modelling practice, and calibration method. Delivered remote or on-site, scoped to your team and your network. From half-day refreshers to full courses.

Also available: master planning support, levels-of-service and system performance benchmarking, and standalone model health checks.

How engagements run

Modernise. Calibrate. Assess.

Step 1

Modernise

Audit what exists and bring it to a current, calibration-ready state: network, boundary conditions, rainfall, assumptions documented.

Step 2

Calibrate

Calibrate against the events in your monitoring record, not a single design storm. The fit is reported openly, station by station.

Step 3

Assess

Capacity, hotspots, and system performance, mapped, dashboarded, and written up so engineering, operations, and executives can all use it.

Defined scope. Fixed price. Documented handover. When you're ready to act on the results, master planning support is scoped and quoted separately.

How we work

Evidence over adjectives

Every claim carries a number, a mechanism, or a verb. What we know and what we don't is stated plainly.

Knowledge transfer

Deliverables ship with documentation and a handover session. You own what's built, and your team can run it.

Your platform, not ours

InfoWorks ICM & WS Pro, PCSWMM, InfoSWMM, EPA SWMM, EPANet. The work happens on whatever your team already runs.

Who you're working with

Alvaro Cañizares
